Poles prefer investment in real estate - study
Poles prefer to invest in real estate rather than in commercial estate, Poland AM reported referring to data provided by the National Bank of Poland. For example, in 2022, some 70% of the purchased apartments were with investment purposes.
Yet, regarding commercial properties, the share of the Poles’ capital is just under 2%, according to CBRE data. It is far less in comparison to other European countries such as the Czech Republic, Germany, and Romania. They are enabled to do so, for instance, by REITs, or funds that allow individuals to invest in commercial real estate, Poland AM noted.
